Dyur x Fredy Clue – 12/7
Dyur brings a live set that explores the intersection of Scandinavian folk music and filthy techno grooves. Together with his younger brother, Fredy Clue, they forge an immersive experience that fuses the traditional with the modern, the raw electronic synths dancing with the acoustic sounds of the nyckelharpa, along with their harmonising voices.
Growing up together, Fredy and older brother Johan have always been surrounded by music. Fredy continued to create a solo career as an established folk musician and nyckelharpa player in his own right, while Johan (Dyur) found his way into music production much later in life. In a eureka moment, he realised that combining his love for filthy electronic music—with heavy bass and groovy beats—with the folk music tradition of the Swedish traditions make for a match made in heaven. Ever since 2018 he has been producing folklore-techno, meant to be played on huge speakers deep in the Nordic forests.
Only after many years, in 2024, did they decide to team up and play live together. In their live set, grooves, beats and synths complement the enchanting harmonies of the nyckelharpa. They will take you on a journey through forests and mountains, sharing the old tales of the North through their music.
