Marcos Andreu-Gasol is a musician and architect from Barcelona, currently based in Berlin. Bred in a musical context, Marcos starts playing piano at 3, continuing piano studies until 13. In 1997, he discovers didjeridu in Australia. A Spanish referential and world fame didjeridu player today, he has developed an informative and educational career on the instrument and on Australian Aboriginal culture, teaching, giving lectures and performing internationally since 2002. Parallelly and since 1990, he develops an interest in electronic music and the dance scene that continues inspiring his music today.
Markusen makes energetic music for the body. Delicate, full of details for the brain and made with loads of love for the soul, simultaneously playing many instruments, acoustically, without looping, totally live and real time. Inspired by electronic music, yet analog and very simple. Or not.
