What to expect
Bring some beauty into the mundane and learn to make a beautiful hand bound broom for your home, workshop, tent, and more. Brooms are an essential item for tending our home space, workshops and for altars & rituals. Ever since learning this art I have had so much more pleasure when sweeping. It’s more of a meditation and act of self care. During this 1-2 hour broom making class we will have the opportunity to learn & make a Sorghum hand broom traditional to the Appalachian region with minimal materials and tools. Materials for one broom are included in the cost of the class. Additional materials will be available for purchase if you would like to make another during class or materials to take home and continue.
